FAQ

Fair questions.
Straight answers.

Do you provide the alcohol?

No — and that’s by design. As your bartending service, we pour and serve what you provide. Here’s why that works in your favor: you buy the bottles at retail instead of paying event markup, anything unopened is yours to keep, and we hand you an exact shopping list — brands, sizes, and bottle counts matched to your guest count — so there’s no guesswork and no overbuying. We bring everything else: the bar, the tools, the ice, the mixers, the garnishes, and the bartender.

What kinds of events do you do?

Private events: backyard parties, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, holiday parties, and gatherings like them. If it’s your people celebrating at a private venue or home, that’s our wheelhouse.

How far will you travel?

Our current service area is within about an hour of the Capital Region. Have something a little farther out? Ask — longer trips are case-by-case with a travel fee.

What do you need from the venue or backyard?

Not much. A reasonably level spot about 8 by 6 feet for the bar, and a way to get our gear to it. Power and running water are nice to have but not required for a standard setup — we plan around what your space actually has during the menu consultation.

How many guests can you handle?

One bartender comfortably serves parties up to about 75 guests. Bigger crowd, or a cocktail-heavy menu where every drink takes a little longer? We add a second bartender so the line at the bar stays part of the party instead of becoming the party.

What about guests who don't drink?

They get the same treatment. Every menu we build can include real zero-proof cocktails — fresh juice, house syrups, proper glassware, an actual garnish — not a sad soda gun and a shrug. For events with a lot of non-drinkers we’ll build a full mocktail program.

Do you check IDs?

Yes, every time, no exceptions. Responsible service is non-negotiable for us: we card anyone who looks close, we pace service, and we know how to cut someone off politely without making it a scene. It protects your guests, your event, and you as the host.

How does booking work?

Send us an inquiry with your date, town, rough guest count, and what kind of event it is. We’ll set up a quick call to talk through the menu and logistics, then send you a written quote with everything spelled out. No pressure, no upsell — if the fit isn’t right, we’ll tell you.

Something we didn't cover? Ask us directly — you'll get a straight answer.
